About Us

WHO WE ARE

Established in 2014, Abhivruddhi Foundation is a non-profit trust dedicated to supporting every person with functional limitations in Karnataka. We go beyond basic care by offering education-based techniques that strengthen and prepare them for a secure future.
About 15% of the world’s population lives with some form of disability, of whom 2-4% experience significant difficulties in functioning, the number that could grow if not addressed. We believe in empowering these individuals to lead strong and financially secure lives by providing essential support and education.
We've touched the lives of countless individuals with special needs, all because of your dedicated support.

OUR COMMITMENT TO CHANGE

At Abhivruddhi Foundation, our approach is centered on transforming lives at every step. We address the critical needs of the disabled by engaging with communities, and government bodies at the district and state levels.
Our work extends beyond immediate care; we aim to change behaviors and practices at the community level and push for policy changes, ensuring lasting support and inclusion for disabled individuals. This dual approach allows us to create a supportive ecosystem where disabled are prioritized and nurtured. We ensure that every challenged individual has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
We are committed to creating lasting impact and fostering a society that values and supports its most vulnerable members by providing education, healthcare, and life skills. We believe in advocacy and engaging with the community, aiming for lasting change and inclusion.

JOURNEY SO FAR

The journey of Abhivruddhi Foundation began with the inspiring story of its founder, Mrs. Bhagya, who was born with a disability. Faced with societal prejudice and challenges, she never let her spirit waver. Instead of giving in to hardships, Mrs. Bhagya immersed herself in charitable work from a young age, gaining invaluable experience by volunteering in various charitable trusts for 15 years. Determined to make a difference, she founded Abhivruddhi Foundation in 2013, with the unwavering support of her husband.
Since then, the foundation has placed over 2,000 disabled individuals in various jobs by providing education, training, and business skills. Mrs. Bhagya’s mission encompasses a wide range of services, including education, treatment, surgeries, service-oriented coaching, and self-defense training. Her dedication ensures that others do not endure the hardships she faced, creating a more inclusive and supportive community.
